HERA have been actively involved in this project since the successfull award of grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund acting in the role of Expert Advisor and Project Monitor. A capital project which is currently in delivery, restoring and redeveloping Middlesbrough Town Hall (Concert Hall and associated Municipal Buildings), to revitalise this heritage asset, and bring unused areas of heritage significance, into public use, and contribute to the sustainable future of this key building. Supported by a community engagement, participation and learning plan, the project is actively learning about the unique historic character and use of the building, which will inform interpretation proposals.
Our role has included cashflow, procurement, programme advice, as well as a comprehensive review of key strategic document, including Management and Maintenance Plans, Conservation Management Plan, Activity Plan, Project Design, and Cost Plan information.
