HERA consultants have been involved in the monitoring of the Prescot THI (Townscape Heritage Initiative) project since securing National Lottery Heritage Fund grant support. The Delivery Phase has seen the successful delivery of several properties, through the Council working with Private property owners, to bring properties back into use, reinstate architectural features, and undertake appropriate building repairs in the conservation area. Public realm works, and complementary activities continue to be delivered, to further enhance the project.
The nature of these projects results in delivery challenges, and uncertain solutions. HERA have continued to provide professional expertise and support to the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the grantee, to strive to maximise the success of this project. Successfully delivering properties, has encouraged wider participation, and increase economic vitality for Prescot.
